Standard Returns

For eligible non-personalized products, you may notify us of your intention to return an item within 30 days after delivery.

After receiving our return instructions, the item must be sent back within 14 days.

To request a return or exchange, please contact us at info@macarooon.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • The product you wish to return or exchange
  • The reason for your request
  • Photographs of the item and packaging

We may request a reason to help improve our products and services.


Return Conditions and Costs

  • Returned products must be unused and undamaged.  All original packaging, accessories, inserts and complimentary items should be included. 
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to our designated return center.
  • Cash-on-delivery and postage-due returns are not accepted.
  • Returns are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
  • Original shipping charges, express delivery surcharges, duties and taxes are non-refundable.

 

Personalized and Embossed Products

Products personalized or embossed cannot be returned or exchanged.

Personalized products remain eligible for an appropriate remedy where they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged before delivery
  • Incorrectly personalized by Macarooon
  • Different from the product ordered

Macarooon is not responsible for personalization errors resulting from information entered or approved incorrectly by the customer.

 

Promotional, Sale and Final Sale Products

Products purchased with a promotional code or during a general sale follow the standard return and exchange conditions in this policy.

Certain discontinued or clearance products may be clearly marked “Final Sale” before purchase. Final Sale products are not eligible for standard returns.

Final Sale status does not exclude rights relating to defective or damaged products.

 

Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Products

Visible damages, missing products or incorrect products should be reported within 7 days where reasonably possible so that we can investigate promptly. 

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the complete product
  • Clear photographs or video showing the affected area
  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping label, where relevant
  • Photographs or video showing the product with the intended device, where compatibility is concerned

After reviewing the information, we may offer an appropriate remedy, including:

  • Replacement parts
  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Reproduction
  • Refund
  • Another mutually agreed solution

Where a return is reasonably required because of a confirmed defect, shipping damage or fulfillment error attributable to Macarooon, we will provide a return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs approved in advance.


Natural Leather and Handmade Variations

Leather is a natural material. Grain, pores, texture and color may vary slightly between individual products and production batches.

Lighting, photography and screen settings may also affect how colors appear. Handmade production may result in minor differences in stitching, alignment and dimensions.

A minor variation is not considered a defect where it does not materially affect the product’s overall appearance, compatibility, durability or intended function.

 

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Customers may choose store credit instead where available. Any additional promotional store-credit value is non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product.  After the returned product has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.  Any additional amount paid for express, priority or premium delivery is not refundable.

 

Return Shipping

Please do not send a product back without first contacting us.

Return authorization helps us identify the parcel, provide the correct return address and process the request efficiently.

Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide:

  • The correct return address
  • Shipping and customs instructions

Products sent to an unauthorized or incorrect address may be delayed or returned to the sender.

Please clearly include your order number inside the parcel.

 

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

Customs duties, import taxes and customs-processing charges may be imposed by local authorities and are outside Macarooon’s control.

These charges are not collected by Macarooon and may not be refundable by us.

Customers may need to contact their local customs or tax authority directly regarding any tax inquiries  after returning an order.
